This crab is actually a single flat sheet of metal that has been hammered, bent, and folded into a three dimensional piece. It measures ten inches wide, four inches tall, and six inches wide. It is cut from plate steel and has been given a clear coat to prevent oxidation. I intend to design more folded objects to go with this series, you can also see the folded beetle.
